The Concrete Truth

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Hello, My name is Steve Marney. I come from a long line of business owners and entrepeneurs. My great grandfather started a clothing business when he came here from Austria in the late 1800’s. Since then, my grandfather, father, brother, and myself have all followed the same path. My niche has been in the construction industry, specifically concrete. I have owned and operated a successful basement waterproofing company and a decorative concrete overlay business in the Chicago suburbs over the last 20 years. I have recently sold my businesses and I’m looking forward to a new chapter in my life.

I have 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren. I was informed recently that the 4th grandchild is on the way. Life has been good to me, so I would like to give back by sharing all the knowledge I’ve gained through the years to others.

I hope that you can benefit in some way by reading my blog. I look forward to answering any and all questions that you may have. Don’t be shy. He who hesitates is lost.

PS, I like to swing dance, but my body doesn’t. Below, I’m demonstrating the “Tequila Tiger” style of Kung Fu.

P.S.S. My friends don’t  think I’m very funny, but I disagree with them. (I always hear people laugh at me when I walk by.)
